The Robert D. Coates Co. LLC is a full service general contractor available to accomplish all aspects of a project from foundation to finish trim.  We also perform complete interior and exterior restoration work on all types of historic structures, including residences, agricultural structures, and ancillary buildings.  Our company has worked with private homeowners as well as non-profit and public organizations such as the Historic Preservation Trust of Berks County and the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.  We use highly skilled craftspersons to fashion traditional materials such as wood, stone, and iron along with modern materials and techniques. 

Our goal is to create up to date living spaces with respect to traditional architecture and historic design.
